This page sets out the conditions applying to the sale of any tickets listed on our website – www.findmydine.co.uk to you. Please read these conditions carefully before ordering any tickets from our website. By placing an order on our website you agree to these conditions. We consider these conditions to set out the whole agreement between you and us for the sale of tickets.
2. Status of Your Order
Upon placing an order to purchase tickets from our website, you will receive an email acknowledging that we have received your order and that the order has been completed, with a further email containing your tickets. The agreement between you and us for the sale of tickets is formed when we send you this confirmation.
3. Price and Payment
3.1 The prices payable for tickets that you order are as set out on Find My Dine, except in cases of obvious error. While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of ticket(s) you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid, you will receive a full refund.
3.2 Orders are accepted subject to payment being received from the card issuer. If we are unable to obtain payment, we reserve the right to cancel your order. However, we will do our best to contact you and obtain payment by other means first of all.
3.3 All payment and refund transactions, irrespective of currency, originate from the UK. Find My Dine cannot be held liable for any additional charges your bank or credit card provider may apply to your transaction, such charges are completely out of our control.
4. Your Relationship with the Organiser
4.1 The contract for the event ticket is between you and the organiser. This means that there may be additional terms and conditions which apply to your contract with the individual organiser. These additional terms, if any, shall be made known to you at the time of purchase, and/or you may contact us for further details. Where relevant, we will provide a link to the terms in the ticket confirmation email. If a ticket or voucher is being purchased for use by someone else, they will also need to comply with these terms.
4.2 Where we act as an agent this means that we have no contractual liability to you in respect of that particular event.
4.3 It is important to note that it is the organiser, not us, who is the seller of the ticket. Therefore, if you have a complaint about the event, your complaint lies with the organiser, and not Find My Dine. Contact details for the organiser will be made available if required.
4.4 Since your contract is not with us, but with an organiser, we will pass booking details to that business. You hereby acknowledge that the organisers are not a part of Find My Dine. The placing of an order to purchase a ticket for an event will constitute consent for us to pass your details to the organiser.
4.5 You will receive an email confirmation of your order for the event. You must take the ticket with your barcode to the event, to allow it to be scanned.
4.6 Tickets are only valid for the specified event on the date, and at the time stated. In some cases, organisers may allow you to transfer the ticket to a future date, but this decision lies with the organiser and not Find My Dine. If you fail to arrive at the event within the time specified, you will forfeit your ticket and a refund will not be provided.
4.7 It is your responsibility to check your order. If you have made a mistake it cannot always be rectified after purchase. Please check your event ticket(s) on receipt carefully and contact us immediately if there is a mistake, or if you have not received your email confirmation of your order.
4.8 Tickets may be purchased by clicking on the individual event, and then following the prompts that will appear on-screen. You may check and correct any input errors in your order up until the point at which you submit your order to us by clicking the “Place Order” button.
4.9 Once submitted, your order constitutes an offer to purchase a ticket. All orders are subject to acceptance by Find My Dine. We are not obliged to accept your order and may decline to accept any order. Where we accept your order, we will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an email that confirms that we have accepted your order and subsequently provide details of your ticket(s).
With fraud being a growing concern within the industry, you may be asked to provide us with additional information after your booking so that we can verify your purchase. Please understand that this is for the safety of your ticket purchase and the security of your card information.
4.10 Please make sure when you book your tickets you can attend the event. Once you have booked your ticket we won’t be able to cancel or exchange it.
4.11 Counterfeiting, copying, sale, resale or trade of a ticket is prohibited. If you attempt to do this we reserve the right to void the ticket and cancel your account.
4.12 The ticket remains the property of the organiser and may be withdrawn, and admission refused, at any time upon refunding the advertised purchase price.
4.13 Our organisers may prohibit us from issuing exchanges or refunds after a purchase is made, or for lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed tickets. It is your responsibility to keep your ticket(s) safe, whether in digital or in a paper format.
4.14 A ticket cannot be used for advertising, promotions, contests or sweepstakes without the organiser’s consent.
5. Our Refunds Policy
Ticket purchases cannot be exchanged or refunded, except in the following circumstances:
5.1 Where the organiser has not set their own refund policy in the text of the event on the website, and a refund has been requested via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
5.2 If an event is cancelled by the organiser, Find My Dine can only refund the face value of your tickets, or if the face value has been reduced by the organiser, the discounted face value price paid. We will do our best to contact you by email, phone or in writing using the details you submitted to us when you booked your ticket.
Please be aware that it is your responsibility to check that the event is going ahead as advertised. Find My Dine cannot always guarantee that we can let you know if an event changes, but we do try to do so. If the event is cancelled, or the date is changed after you have booked, we will be more than happy to arrange a face value refund for you.
5.3 Where you are due a refund; the refund will be made to the original card used for purchase. This will normally show in your account 5-10 working days from the date of the refund being issued. If the card used has expired or you no longer have the account, we must wait for the refund to be rejected by the issuing bank. This will extend the timescale in getting the refund to you. Only when the refund has been rejected, can we issue the refund to an alternative card. We may ask you for written confirmation that this new card belongs to you and you agree for the refund to be applied to it; failure to provide this confirmation will mean we cannot process a refund to you.
6. Amendments to these Conditions
We reserve the right to make changes to these conditions at any time. The conditions in force at the time you order tickets from us will apply, unless any change to these conditions is required to be made by law or government authority, in which case it will apply to orders previously placed by you. If any of these conditions is deemed invalid, void, or unenforceable it shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining conditions.
If you breach these conditions and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these conditions.
